I'm trying to get some ideas on a three sided Cocktail cabinet, mainly the controller layout. I am interested in playing the most classic games from 78 - 84. Anyone want to show off their pics?

This isn't mine but I really like it.

Yah, very nice but more elaborate than what I can handle. Thanks though.

Here's one of the guys I built. Two joysticks at either end (one for 8 ways, one four way) and standard 2 player fighter config on the horizontal orientation.

That's very nice. I'm trying to get an idea of what will fit on each side.

Shunt the player starts and coin in's to another location and you can wedge in a two inch trackball and/or a spinner on the front panel in the center. After that, stick to the controls you require on an ongoing basis for the games you'll come back to. In my experience, when you fire up the cab for other peoples amusement, they'll just want to play fighting games.

I built mine from an Arcade Depot kit:

Has anyone got any plans for building a three sided cocktail cab? I've spent plenty of time searching but can't find anything very detailed.
any helps would be appreciated.

There's a guy called Gozer who did a bunch of 3D of cabints in Sketch-Up and loaded them into their 3D warehouse - http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/cldetails?clid=4ac3dc12784cb20bd06e6be4f8954ac (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/cldetails?clid=4ac3dc12784cb20bd06e6be4f8954ac)
Gozer doesn't have a three sides but another guy, Steve Brown does:

Here's the three sides cocktail cabinet he has:

Download the model, then download SKetch-Up and use the tape measure to grab all the dimensions you need.
