Don't sweat it -- Dale has been putting this up on eBay for a long time now and I think we'll continue to see it periodically.

I saw somewhere that somebody did the same thing that used an electric drill motor.

This guys solutions is a lot cheaper.

This guys solutions is a lot cheaper.

It's very responsive, and apparently no servos. But the commercial models have force feedback, which I gather is important to model and experience  plane handling.
