Title: Cutest thing EVER!
Post by: Lilwolf on August 18, 2003, 09:56:47 pm
I was playing bad dudes with my daughter (she was playing with the 2nd player joystick.

Well, at the end of every level she would say "I'm bad too!" and punch the air just like the guy does.

She now does this whenever I play ANY game!

Shes so cute.  ;D

The president has been kidnapped by ninjas!  Is your daughter a bad enough dude to rescue her?

my 2 year old son used to do something like what your daughter does... every time i played street fighter 2 on my desktop cp he would immitate all the win poses of the characters i played (especially guile and ryu/ken)... unfortunately he also liked to try and combo dear ol' dad with a couple of left and right hooks followed up by some headbutts to the back... needless to say, i only play ms.pac-man now everytime he's close enuff to see me  ;) (I think i'll have to chill with the fighting games until my son realizes that hitting dad's bad back is a definite nono  :P)

Hit him back....lol

I got one.  My 5 year old loves TMNT, and he hears the song, but can't sing it, so he ends up saying "do da do da doda turtles...turtle power!"

and also since we always WAIL on the credit button he never says Kowabunga, he always says Kowa-Kowa-Kowa-Kowa-Kowa-KowaBUNGA!

dang kids are funnny  I wish I knew the dumb stuff I did when i was a kid.  I bet I was cute.  oh but how things change  ;)

My 3 year old loves to watch me play track and field (and play with the 2 player buttons). Whenever there is cheering at the end of an event she claps her hands and yells "Yay Daddy"!

LOL   :)

My cat peed on the carpet behind the tv while I was playing Test Drive 5 on the playstation.

 Does that count?

LOL... only if you thought it was the cutest thing EVER!  (like peeing on the power cord, jumping 10 feet into the air with all its fur sticking out and a little smoke just like a cartoon.... )  (and no cats where hurt in the filming of it)....

btw, I LOVE your icon!

My cat peed on the carpet behind the tv while I was playing Test Drive 5 on the playstation.

 Does that count?

I used to have a JAMMA cabinet that a TMNT board pretty much permanently lived in, and my friend's 4 year old daughter loved the thing. She wouldn't play it, she would just watch the attract mode. The only thing she would actually play back then was the Sega Turbo I had.

She was really pissed when we carted off the JAMMA cabinet, but then quickly forgot about it when the pinball machine took its place, as that was something else she could actually play.

My kids "play" my pin by wailing on the buttons and making lots of noise.  They pay very little attention to the ball...is that how she was?

Theresa did that at first, but we made her learn to wait and actually try and hit the ball with the flippers, I didn't want her wearing out my flippers.

Yes.

LOL!.....I only asked because the other night my gf and I were playing a heated battle of MK2 and after like 10ish games of her losing, she finally won a round..in which she then proceeded to re-enact the victory pose of Kitana...which I fell over laughing at.  The rest of the night de-evolved in both of us re-enacting various victory poses at each other when one of us would win. This oscar winning performance went across about 5 different games.....and yes, alcohol was involved.  ;D

Now for a not so dumb and more cute story. My friend has a 5 year old boy who loves to play the "gamestand" as he calls it every time he comes over. Well, Father and son got into a heated game of Street Fighter 2 the other night. Now neither of them know any moves or anything else for the game, so  it was basically a big button mashing session....which ended in dad getting his but whooped just about every time...followed by this little 5 year old yelling at his father "WHO'S YOUR DADDY!"  Needless to say I laughed my arse off multiple times.

Well my MAME machine really IS a Bad Dudes, so I AM the baddest...

"Ah'm bad!" *fist in the air*

I've got full-grown friends that like to put up fighting game poses in public. It's rather embarassing... On the other hand, my machine lives in a frat house and has never been played by anyone under the age of 18.

A girlfriend who'll play MK2 with you? Sounds like a keeper to me!

(And no, my wife won't even play PacMan...  >:( )
