Lenovo - yes, boring old Lenovo - has one of the more interesting gaming-related products on show at this week's CES: a box that transforms a laptop computer into a pint-sized arcade cabinet.

All you do is pop the stick open and there's room to slide in a laptop. Close it back up and you have the world's cutest - albeit least practical - fighting game arcade unit.

Sadly, it's not an actual product, just a gimmick thrown together for the show (it was built by Dean Liou from Envador.com, based on a design by the guys at EMDKAY). What's the deal, Lenovo? We wouldn't call you boring old Lenovo if you sold something like this, something that would make my kitchen counter the greatest kitchen counter in the world.

Hehe, but other than that, looks pretty cool! Love the installed cooling pad, and pull-out keyboard.

That is sick!   So the laptop is the screen too?  Is this sold all together just like it is shown in the video?

I am going to contact my dopleganger Brent and see if i can get one for my office at work.  That would be killa to the illa when i am rending out my commercials

Very sharp design. What if you get a bigger...or smaller....laptop in the future?

no this was just a project the guy did.  the company sent him the laptop about 6 months ago i guess.. i remember reading about this 5 months ago on engadget.com.   i was surprise to see this at CES.
