Hi hope I am in the right place we have a megatouch gold bartop game and its worked fin up till now. when we plugged it in a black screen comes on and has alot of text. but it says mainly press F1 to continue. and I read someplace that you have to plug a keyboard into it to get past this? I looked inside but can not see anplace to plug a keyboard. can anyone help me figure out how to do this? and, what type of connector does the keyboard have to have on it? the old round style or the newer usb style? thank you all so much for any help.

It's a PS2 connector (old style). When you open the back you'll see the I/O board on top the motherboard underneath.
All the standard PC connections are along the left side. Keyboard and Mouse connections are toward the top.
They will be labeled if the sticker hasn't been removed.
As long as nothing else is going on, you should only have to do it once.
Were there any changes made to it recently?

hi, and thank you! no changes made to it at all. we bought it several months ago. never a problem until now. I will crack it back open tomorrow evening and try to get it figured out. you say old style of connector on the keybord cord, do you mean the old round style end?

congrats on getting it fixed. that connector in the picture caused me a head ache.. trying to find a ps2 to usb connector in this town was next to impossible.. unless i wanted to spend 20.00. so then i tried to buy a couple on line.. they never arrived and yet the sell said it showed them being delivered and over 3.00 i was not gonna argue with the ebay seller. even tho i was in the hospital the day the item was suppose to be delivered.. laughs.. finally i said heck with it and spent 10.00 cheapest i could find one here in town.. i will be happy if i never see a ps2 again.. USB 3.0 for the win. o yeah i bought a box of 20 of these ps2 to usb so i never ever, and i mean ever have to spend 10.00 for a adapter.. laughs.. thanks for letting me rant.. that picture just set me off in my little pee brain head. i have a box of 20 of these dang things in the mail..

If you, or anyone else, finds themselves in that situation, start pawing through your leftover mouse parts. You probably could have bought a cheap dual-interface mouse locally, with the adapter you needed, for cheaper than 20 adapters you don't need plus shipping.
