Title: "Best" jukebox app?
Post by: Diewrecked on December 30, 2010, 09:35:30 am
Hi guys

I've taken a look at http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Jukebox_Software (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Jukebox_Software) and was wondering if there is any particular "de facto" jukebox application you guys use? I'm guessing it'll end up being as personal an opinion as what FE you use in your cab but thought I'd at least ask the question. Given the choice I'd like something skinnable to look like a RockOla 1454 (http://www.jukeboxlondon.co.uk/rockola-1454/jukebox.html (http://www.jukeboxlondon.co.uk/rockola-1454/jukebox.html)) or 1448 (http://www.ljentertainments.com/images/Rockola%201448%20Lit%20Up.JPG (http://www.ljentertainments.com/images/Rockola%201448%20Lit%20Up.JPG)) but I'm not overly fussed, it just needs to be controllable with U360 and/or mouse (trackball) and play MP3 and video (MP4, MPG, AVI). I've used Instant Sheller to hide Windows so I need something that doesn't need a pointer as such. I'm using 3DArcade as my FE of choice if it has any bearing.

Thanks in advance all!
Cheers

DWJukebox (http://dwjukebox.com/ (http://dwjukebox.com/)) is my personal favorite. It is easy to setup, but has tons of option. Lots of skins available, and it auto searches for new songs. Plus, Chris, the author is a great guy (and a forum member).
