Right, so I sold off the last jukebox i built and I'm starting another one. I had decided on the design, then I started doubting myself and thought it would look stupid.
I am in desperate need of opinions and/or designs. Even if you have a good design I could scrap this. I have a terrible imagination so would love to hear all opinions!!
So you can see in the pics below, the initial idea I had was to put 3 old gas pipes on top of each other smaller to biggest decending with speakers in each. 1 x 10 inch sub-woofer, 2 x 6.5 inch mid-range and 2 x tweeters.
I was going to put a nice paint finish on it and leave them as they are, just bare. A nice shinny ( that specaldy paint with the nice pigment - Could end up like a drum kit). But now I'm debating just using thin sheets of plywood to line the sides and follow the curves like the drawing.
The amp is huge so it will go in the bottom and I would roughly guess its 600mm wide. The bottom pipe is 315mm, then 250mm, then 180mm and 2 90mm tweeters in the top.
There will be a 17 inch touchscreen on top.
Thanks

I like your end view of the pipes with the sheathing but the pipes themselves look too long to ever become a nice looking assembly. Is your juke going to be as deep as those pipes are long? Or are you looking at orienting the juke sideways?

I was planning on making them about 500mm long (about 2 feet) but I could always make them shorter. Might just scrap the pipe idea and build another one similar to the old one I made with a few changes. I can't make up my mind. I think the pipes would like nice with a paint like the one in the pic below.
