Title: WG25k7197 Image Rotated Slightly to the Left
Post by: darkseraph on December 27, 2010, 12:40:30 am
I recently picked up a MK cab converted to a Tekken 4 and the first thing I noticed when turning it on what this problem with the image. The monitor is a Wells Gardner 25K7197, overall the image is great it needed quite a bit of adjustment when I first got it but now the image looks great atleast it seems too to my eyes

I just cant seem to figure out this problem with the image where it seems turned slightly so theres a space at the bottom right. If I adjust the VSize certain games have parts cut off it just isnt a permanent fix for a very annoying issue.

Just wanting a better idea what Im dealing with here, its just annoying on alot of games.

the yoke is twisted. give it a gentle turn, while the monitor is off.

not 100% sure how to adjust the yoke without screwing something up, Ill go start turning ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- see if I get anywhere.

EDIT: I turned it slightly and now the picture is slightly better needs a bit more adjusting now I cant figure out how I adjusted it the first time lol  :droid

Yeah that screw and bolt will loosen it up just a bit. But be careful because those purity rings getting shifted will affect the convergence.
the k7000s have plastic in that yoke assembly that gets brittle with age so also watch for it cracking. I've got a 27" with a yoke that hangs free after the plastic fell apart :p
