OK so i've got a Pentranic vma 1939 monitor in a touchscreen cab does anyone know where I can get hold of the manual?, basically there is a remote board to adjust screen size/brightness etc. but I saw one the other day with an on screen display (OSD) in green like you normally see on a pc monitor... which is basically what it is.. a pc monitor!.
The screen size can be adjusted manually but the adjustments affect all resolutions as it's sort of a master hardware adjustment, when you adjust the screen size etc. on a pc monitor it is just on the resolution you are changing it for..... so I really need to know how to get into the OSD settings menu as i've seen the same monitor with that menu displayed!!

the 1939 is multi-resolution and auto-switching, but is really supposed to be used with 1 resolution only, which is why there is a control board with pots on it for the horizontal and vertical, brightness, etc.
set it, and forget it.
there is a digital version... i believe it's a 1926 model.

Ok thanks for that, at least I can stop searching for the answer now

oh... and the only thing that annoys me with 800x600 compaired to the 1024x768 that i'm using is that even with the control board I can't get the screen fully centred.... it leaves about an inch at the right hand side and doesn't go any further..... if I turn the pot for the horizontal positioning the other way it will centre but the screen looks garbled... like it's interlaced or something!
