Title: Search-Fu help

Came across this while looking for ideas. Tried for about an hour to find out where or what this photo shows, but every site I can find shows this exact same photo and never has a description of any kind.

So my question is, WTF are these trees and where do they grow?

I put your imagine into TinEye and [this (http://www.tineye.com/search/3b96e8946152da519fb951211fcc1f1ecab8a520/)] is the search result.

From the [first search result (http://www.yemag.com/discover-yemen/the-most-alien-looking-place-on-earth.html)] it appears that the photo is of a tree in Socotra which is a small archipelago of four islands in the Indian Ocean

The [Socotra Wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socotra)] has a photo of the tree and it is named as the Endemic tree species Dracaena cinnabari.

There is a Wiki page on the Dracaena cinnabari [here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dracaena_cinnabari)].
