Was gonna do a SEGA vs Nintendo theme, but have now changed my mind again... i'm a total noobie to vector images, i'vs used PS most my adult life.

Make the fighter bigger on the side it will fill up some space, and i like the characters of the first idea better just my tsaste :D

On the side, perhaps start the sun in the center of the characters wiith the rays going out from there. It would make the upper part of the cab more vibrant.
Otherwise, one set of characters expanded on one side of the cab with the other on the other side. Since they are facing opposite directions, both sets would be facing the front of the cab.
Just a couple thoughts.

pictures out of proportions is usually bad news. might wanna keep the same ratio when you resize them. otherwise everything looks good so far :cheers:

I've changed the design of my control panel somewhat..... as a result.... the surface area is aloot biggerso i needed to add some more graphics to break up the empty space;

You might want to make your characters transparent and send them down a lvl so they get covered by the orange background. Then, make a design around the buttons to accentuate them. Overall I like were your going with the design. Nice job around the characters reminds me of the design SF4 has as a border on its command cards
