I recently upgraded from v103 to v140. Several games that work in 103 don't work in 140. How do I correct these?
Also, Is there a way to go through the entire list of ROMs in 140 without having to type in a partial ROM name? I'd like to scroll through the whole list like I could in 103.

Yes and Yes
You have to download a current set of roms, there have been a ton of rom changes since 103. I imagine not many 103 roms with work with 140.
If you use a frontend you can scroll through your game list. Try GameEx.

New ROM set? It took me forever to get the ROMs for 103. :cry:

Your roms need to match that of the version of MAME that you are running. You should be able to download CLRMamePro, point it to your MAME.exe and it can scan and update the roms that you have. However, you will probably need to download the 140 rom set.

Depending on your download speeds if you find the right site you can download a full set of roms in 6-8 hours and be done with it.

Google it, dont ask in the forums for sites for roms. There are dozens out there, shouldnt take longer than a few minutes to find the site.
