Title: MAME .140 Rom size

Does anyone know what size is a full set for MAME .140 and how many files. Mine says 12.8GB 8,011 files Only reason is that my .137 set is reading96GB with 24,141 files :dizzy: :cry:

Mine without any CHDs is 8938 Files and 24.9 GB

I show ~24.8 GB, and somewhere around 8k-9k files. Nowhere near 24k files.
+121GB for CHDs and +1.27 for .140 to .140u2.

BTW - am I the only one secretly happy about the recent MAME developer problems? I hate to admit it, but I really, really used to wish the releases would slow down - as soon as I'd get one set completed, they'd be several versions progressed beyond that. Always wanted far less frequent updates, rather than the ".138 to .138u1 changelog: modified Digdug's bloop from 6.121Khz to 6.122Khz" shenanigans. Please don't take this comment too seriously - probably without rapid releases, devs would get frustrated and leave, and I'd never want that.

Seconded.

It would be a waste of time to update every partial release (unless you're compulsive about having the latest version or afraid of future availability).  Just update when there's something new you want.  ;)
