Title: Generic Jamma cab Restoration
Post by: venkman on December 17, 2010, 09:05:11 am
Whassup there, I've started a blog with my restoration project on it.

you can check it out here:
http://mysuperarcade.posterous.com/ (http://mysuperarcade.posterous.com/)

Most of the information / learning in my blog is also on this forum and on JAMMA+ ..and in more detail, but i tried to make it as clear as possible on my blog.. for beginners like me!

In mysuperarcade.posterous.com I'm going to try and aggregate the learning I've taken from refurbishing my old arcade machine. I bought it as a broken machine form some carnival folk and they assured me that it worked, except the monitor needed replaced. With a bit of work and the aid of some very helpful people on the JAMMA+ and BYOAC forums the machine has been completely re-wired, has a working monitor installed, and you can put coins in there and play games on it! I'm working on the aesthetic stuff right now..

yeah... so that's about it. check it here:

I love the Atari feel on hardware, artwork, fashion, you name it. I can't imagine myself playing Atari games.
