Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection has it's own Facebook group which is largely ignored but yesterday the devs made a post about their older title The Gottlieb Collection;
GREAT NEWS PINBALL FANS....Pinball Hall of Fame: Gottlieb Collection is coming to XBLA January 2011. This is the first time Gottlieb Pinball will be available to the Xbox 360 community. The HD graphics are amazing and it will include all the same tables as the previous Wii version. More info to come.
Hopefully they'll update the physics and sound effects to be on par with The Williams Collection.

I'll probably get it no matter what, but I REALLY hope they update the physics. The Williams Collection is hands down the best pinball sim EVER, and the Gottlieb collection would be a lot better if it at least had those same physics. It's too bad the tables aren't as interesting.

I agree, Gottlieb has a lot of pre 1970's pinball machines which are pretty dull.
It's a shame because there are a LOT of Williams/Gottlieb tables that are not lisenced from movie/TV properties that they could still use. Jackbot, Bride Of Pinbot, High Speed, Attack From Mars and those are just off the top of my head.
Sure, Adams Family and such can't happen because they're lisenced but there are plenty of great existing tables that would be great fun to port.

I wish The Williams Collection on 360 would take advantage of the XBLA add-on store and release new tables.

I wish they would have just released it as an XBLA game to begin with.
I don't play it much at all because I would have to put the disc in. I guess you could say I am lazy, but the times I play pinball are usually just to kill time, and being able to quick launch on the 360 means everything for that kind of play.
That being said, I am loving Pinball FX2. Its physics aren't on par with PHoF:Williams, but they are definitely good enough, and the tables are for the most part excellent.
Gottlieb collection...
No thanks. I have it on the original Xbox, and I just have no interest in any of the tables included. To many better options out there. If they were going to go the XBLA route, they should have done it with Williams.

I hear ya. I would play it way more if I could just launch it like the rest of my arcade titles.

The physics killed it for me.

best $10 I ever spent. I'll prolly get this if the reviews are at least "good" its cheaper then buying a machine and takes up less room.
