Hey all,
Is there a database (or something) that will show all (or many) old Arcade games and how their buttons/sticks/wheels/etc. were setup?
I'm looking for my cab to be more old school (80's) type games and want to accomodate as much as I can without getting too busy. Will probably end up going 2 sticks, 6 buttons each, with a trackball, spinner, and admin buttons, but want to get a look to see setups as they were if I can?
Probably in this site somewhere but haven't found it it! :dunno

Wasn't there a discussion about a cp db not too long ago?
In any case the closest match to what you describe might be klov. it's not especially searchable by cp and some of the presentations are seriously lacking but it's better than nothing. :dunno

Just look through the cpanels JPGs.

Is this pretty much exactly what MAWS was set up for?
Eg:
http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/index.php?src=srch.php%3Fpage%3D1%26stat%3D1%26type%3D1%26orientation%3D2%26buttons%3D3%26nplayers_sim%3D2%26by%3Dname (http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/index.php?src=srch.php%3Fpage%3D1%26stat%3D1%26type%3D1%26orientation%3D2%26buttons%3D3%26nplayers_sim%3D2%26by%3Dname)
All the games in .140 that are vertical, have 3 buttons or less, and support 3 simultaneous players.
edit: Eh, I suppose I misread the question a bit. Oh well. carry on.
