OK, normally I'm the expert at this, but this time I need help!
I used to play this puzzle game in this one arcade/pool hall back around 1995/96 and then I never saw it again anywhere.
The game has you dropping down groups of 3 colored balls, from the top of the screen (Tetris style). The balls are arranged in a triangle, and pressing a button rotates them. When the balls land, they "detach" and roll down gaps, and then when they come to rest, if there are 3 or more same-colored balls touching, they disappear.
It was quite a fun game, but I have no idea what it was called and have never come across it anywhere since.

Battle Balls / Senkyu
( http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/set/senkyu (http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/set/senkyu) )
one of Seibu's non-shooters.
There was a later licensed version with DVD for adult backgrounds, but that one isn't emulated.

This and Super Puzzle Fighter II Terbo are my wife's favorite arcade games. I have the boards for both. Battle balls was a pain to find though.
