Title: Is the "right" TV for PAL conversion to Arcade Monitor?
Post by: jtslade on November 29, 2010, 02:25:54 pm
I am working to get a PAL 220V TV on the cheap ($10-20 USD) for a 19" PAL TV

Its a JVC C-S2180M(H)

But I am unable to find any user manual PDF online to see if it has an SCART connection...

I find a service manual but I can't decipher it..

This will be converted to an arcade monitor using a VGA to RGB cable and soft15K or an Arcade VGA card,

I'm using a 19" TV so that it can go into a cocktail cab project next..

Thank you, Danke!

it's a safe bet...most modern (post 1990) UK tv's over 14 inch have SCART sockets
