Hey guys,
What sort of (gamepad) joysticks should I use for the Player 3 & 4 inputs on my mame cab?
As far as I know, the 4 player games only use 3 buttons max for each player, is that right?
It's mainly so when I have a few guys over we can play NBA Jam, Simpsons and Turtles all together.
(And are there any other good 4 player games that I don't know about?)
A quick look on ebay shows me this : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Blazepro-USB-PC-Game-Controller-Joypad-Joystick-0591-BL-/280589277148?pt=AU_Video_Game_Accessories&hash=item41546c97dc (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Blazepro-USB-PC-Game-Controller-Joypad-Joystick-0591-BL-/280589277148?pt=AU_Video_Game_Accessories&hash=item41546c97dc)
Am I after something like this?
Thanks for the help guys, cheers!

I've tended to prefer the PS* analog style controllers. Forced to choose something different, I would probably go with the N64, 6-button Genesis or a modified NES controller. Simpsons and Turtles are effectively button mashers/quarter gobblers so as long as the control is responsive, any type of controller should be acceptable.
There's something else you should consider though. How much of an advantage/disadvantage will players 3 & 4 have with the USB controllers?

Thanks for the reply bud.
Hmmm, I don't think that it will advantage 3 & 4 by using USB controls, players 1 & 2 get to stand right in front of the screen on real arcade controls,
3 & 4 will be jostling for a view between us.
:P Suckers, at least it will teach people to get here early on game days!
The controls I've linked too are just an old PS1 design from the looks of them, I'm guessing most people will be able to get a feel for them pretty quickly.
I'll probably disable the turbo buttons on the controls just to be sure no-one takes the easy route out.
And while it's sort of on topic, are there any 4 player 'Raiden' or '1944' type games?
