I just scored what I think could be a sweet monitor for my MAME project (for free)... It's a Digital VRC21-KA monitor. However, I can't find any specs on it at all, and there are a few connections on the back that I have no idea about. First thing, it has a "Serial" connection that I have no idea what that is for. The R, G, B connections are self-explanatory as is the d-sub connector. But anyone know what COMP HD or VD are for? Also, the Sync is either 75ohm or 1k?
First thing, would this be a good monitor for MAME? Also, what would be the best way to utilize it? VGA or RGB?
Also, if anyone knows where I can find a manual for this thing, I'd be much appreciative!

hd/vd are sync inputs just like game monitors rgb + h/v sync . wouldn't be too concerned 'bout the serial port
all i've found is its a multi-sync
h 30-94 khz
v 50 - 152 hz
1280 x1024 72 hz refresh
and refurb units going for > $800
