Title: Where to rent Arcade Machines?
Post by: #1Chad on November 12, 2010, 02:12:59 am
Hey everyone. Me and a couple other kids are starting up a gamers club at our college and we wanna plan like an 80's theme night and have some classic arcade games and whatnot setup. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I could rent some arcade machines for a few hours. We're in Concord, NH so the closer the better, thanks.

Probably a first place to start looking. Doesn't look like there are many of these right on top of you, but sometimes amusement companies will have old machines they want to get rid of. That's where I got a ton of my equipment for free (monitors, buttons, arcade boards, etc), they wanted to get rid of them.

If you are in Concord why not goto FunSpot up in Weir and have your 80s party there,  they have every 80s arcade machine you could think of.

The delivery of a single arcade machine is going to cost too much to "rent it for a few hours".  Plus they are an unbelievable pain in the ass to get in your house, worse if you have any sort of stairs.

Well it's not for like a private party. It's a club event that's gonna take place on school campus.

+1 on the amusment companies. The kind of place that would rent bouncy houses, sumo suits, and other inflatable stuff should have some arcade machines. Probably a very limited selection though.....

If you're going to do this more than once, find some machines and restore them. Charge admission.
