Is there a source other than the arcade art library and Mr. Do's for higher resolution marquees? The old packs from years ago are only like 500 pixels wide. I'm hoping for ~1000+pixels wide.

Is there a reason not to share with everyone?
The answer could break forum rules, possibly.
-
I guess that's because it would like to an inappropriate site? (since I don't think the actual marquees reproductions are not allowed, right?)
In that case can someone tell me what to look for or send me the info via PM too, please?
-
I'd be interested as well. TIA

Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I would love some higher resolution marquee images to display on the digital marquee I built for my cab.

maybee chek http://www.progettosnaps.net/marquees.html (http://www.progettosnaps.net/marquees.html) (don't have any idea about the resolution)

Just checked several and verified the progetto marquees are only 500 pixels wide.

Update: Yvan256 mentions that he is working on compiling some 1024 x 640 pixel images for a marquee monitor in this thread (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,119574.msg1299395.html#msg1299395).

If you have the vector (.ai, .eps) files you can create files/prints to cover an entire building if you wanted to. Because vector files are mathematical curves and lines there aren't any pixels to limit your size. That being said, I'm sure most of the original art files were vector but also lost to time so you would have to get them redone. Now something with photos like TMNT would HAVE to be scanned and touched up.
Unfortunately no easy answer here.
