Title: Vanilla Ice's NEW Home Improvement Show
Post by: WhereEaglesDare on November 03, 2010, 12:04:32 am
Stop, Collaborate, and Listen. The Ice is BACK with a brand new Home Improvement Cable TV Show.

This is nuts, great marketing, I think I'm going to DVR it to see whats up.

I caught an episode and was down-right amazed!  Ice always seemed to be the white flava-flav to me.  In other words dumber than a post.  But low and behold not only does he have fairly vast home improvement and gardening knowldege but he is actually capable to doing the work himself!  I applaud him for nto being another worthless celebrity that can't tie their shoes without someone's help.

Everybody needs to watch this at least once.  Your mind will explode from the sheer shock.

I haven't seen the show but I met him in the 90's when he was racing jet skis. He seemed like a decent guy. I was pretty surprised.

He did a pretty kick-ass rock version of "ice ice baby" on that tv show about has-been celebrities. I cant seem to find any official videos for it.

Found:

Saw the show for the first time last night. The dude has really good taste, and is very frugal. Two things I never expected from a rap star.

I was laughing ---my bottom--- off too. I thought it was great when he went to a marble counter top store, and knowing he was Vanilla Ice, they were tring to sell him jade countertops and other fancy counter tops about $200/sq. ft. He then went on to buy about the cheapest stuff they had at 9.95/sq. ft., and the salesperson was just thinking WTF?  :lol

He did a pretty kick-ass rock version of "ice ice baby"....

"...Hard to Swallow was released in 1998 and produced by Ross Robinson, known for his work with bands such as Korn and Limp Bizkit. The album was radically different from Van Winkle's previous works, as it was centered around nu metal rather than hip hop."
