Title: Which one of these router bits is right?
Post by: Xynie on August 13, 2003, 08:11:49 am
I am going to buy a router bit for my cab online, since I can't find any 1/16's here in town...

Anyways, this site has a lot to choose from, so can someone tell me which is the right one for 3/4" T-Molding?

Go to http://www.carbide.com/ and do a quick search for "Slot" and you will see all the results.  Unfortunatly you can't link the results page directly.

Thanks
Anthony

I buy all my bits from MLCS. http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/bt_slot.html

The bit you want is the 3 wing 1/16" get the 1/2" shank bit if your router can take them if not go for the 1/4" shank. You need the complete one with arbor and bearing. They are cheaper than the site you are looking at and they have a really good reputation among woodworkers.
