Hello,
Soon I will be starting my winter project, restoring a DK cab that was converted to Arkanoid. My only hurtle at this point is deciding on what method to use for fixing/replacing the sides? the Laminate is pretty beat up. I was wondering if replacement laminate exists? Or am I stuck with painting or using vinyl?
Thanks,
Aaron.

Heres a dumb question - is the sides laminate at all? I thought it was just paint. It sure sands off like paint.
What I did was sand mine smooth, fix the sides with filler/bondo (nows a good time to hide the bolts), and took a sample into Home Depot so they could color match. I painted it.
Looks good.

Correct, it was just paint. It was baked on and had a hard finish like a laminate.

Paint it. That's what I did to mine and it came out great.

Thanks for the help. I saw a couple restored DK cab's in person. And yes, the paint looks awesome.
