Title: Gutted out threads?
Post by: Crazy Cooter on October 29, 2010, 10:47:40 am
I've been going through some old posts and noticed they are gutted out, meaning some of the responses have been deleted with no information on date edited or by whom.

As an example: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=43340.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=43340.0)
posts#
18
20
30
32

the list goes on...

TOS violation?  Some of these posts are mine and I wasn't aware of crossing a line?

--edit--
Just noticed the (new to me) pinned topic: "Requests for thread edits or take downs due to claims of libel, slander, or ..."  Was I subjected to it?

No - database issues unfortunately. Older posts seem to have suffered from bit rot. They went through a couple of forum upgrades, SQL upgrades, server moves, forum bugs, etc. It's been a bit brutal to older posts :)
