Title: Topgun 2 hotd2 reloading problem (not shoot out of screen issue)

Hello everyone. First off, appologies if this has already been covered. I've had a little search of the site and couldn't find any mention of my particular issue, so here goes:
I've just bought 2 ems topgun 2 lightguns and i'm using them to play the pc version of house of the dead 2, running on a pc with windows 7. (I've also installed troubleshooter in order to use 2 lightguns on hotd2. But I don't think this has anything to do with the problem)
Basically, the problem is that the reload button has a tendancy to stop working. I'm using the guns on rapidfire mode (setting 1 on the guns) and reload is set to the handle trigger. It all works fine for the first level or so but then suddenly decides to stop reloading, usually just when a bunch of really hard bad guys show up. This is obviously really really annoying and I can't seem to find any solution or cause. Sometimes, if I hit pause, the reload button starts working again for a bit, but this only seems to be temporary and it basically makes the game unplayable. Any help very gratefully recieved!

Yeah I know what you mean.  I just got a projector and wanted to play HOTD too in HUGE glory. But your issue isn't in just Windows 7, but also in XP.

Yes I:

1 loaded the drivers from the disc // Not Joy
2 unloaded the drivers via safe mode
3 reinstalled drivers from web page again
4 Played for a while then the player 2 gun stopped responding and no off screen reload then nothing (the Laser pointer stopped underneath the gun).
5 goto 2  //gave up
6 Fired up the Xbox with HOTD
7 Worked fine without recoil!
8 Got in trouble for mounting the led bars on the kitchen wall.

So use white tack for the walls and use a $20 Xbox.

Arse! How annoying!!! Anyone know if this problem happens with the mame sega version as well? Running the pc one at the moment but bought a load of dvds with the latest mame emulator and the house of the dead series (apparently) in there..
