Title: Has Ultimarc ever offered an Econo-Pac before?
Post by: Hoagie_one on August 12, 2003, 12:56:56 pm
Meaning a keyboard encoder that maybe only offers 12 inputs with no programmed mame scheme, just straight inputs.

I ordered from that guy on ebay selling just that but Truth be told, I'd rather get something like this from Ultimarc or Keywiz if the price was similar.

They would be  perfect for 1 player table top cabs\minicabs

Why, when you can just solder to a gamepad hack?  The closes thing oyu have is the KeyWiz econo.

Yeah, there's just as much work with that then there is with a game pad hack :)

I dunno, a 12 input with screw downs vs soldering a gamepad.    Its arguable.

Regardless, I was thinking long run and small production of mini bartop mame machines.  Just thinking mass production.

No biggie I guess.
