Title: Checking MAME rom load errors w/MALA

I have certain games that do not work properly. I know they're missing files (like Neo Geo BIOS) but I'm not able to read the error that MAME generates because MALA closes the DOS window. How do I view these errors so that I may fix the problem? I've been searching the MAME and MALA sites but I can't seem to find it. I'm sure it's something easy and obvious but I guess I'm a little off today :-/
