Hi there,
I've been fooling around with the MA trial edition just for kicks and I'm wondering how I can set up a master game list? I don't like having to switch between emulators - I like the idea of going to my gamelist select a game and go.
I can't seem to find how to do this in MA.

Wow - that's impressive and one heck of a work around.
But it brings up another question - say I want to split my games into genres or categories IE: Classic Arcade (Mame, Model2, Daphne - etc), Light Gun games (Model 2, Mame, Daphne), & Pinball (MAME, VP & FuturePinball).
Would I use the same method?
Sorry about all the questions - just doing some comparative research.

Ah - I think I get it.
Yeah - what I would want is not possible (your last option) with MA - but still - I'm going to continue to fiddle with it. Might create a new theme in the process. :)
Be seeing you,

Now if you were talking about needing several "batch file" sections to get multiple customized looking "1st screen in this post" screens, then that wouldn't be possible. We only have one batch file section to mess with, but I think my first recommendation suits what you are talking about.
Question for you. I noticed that if you only have "MAME" configured in your setup, it skips the first screen altogether, and brings you to the games listing. Is there a way for your batch solution (which I have not yet looked at) to work in tandem with the 'only MAME configured' option to bypass the principle screen altogether?
