I own 2 U360s for P1 and P2. They are top mounted, standard shaft, hard springs, no restrictor plates. P3 and P4 have Sanwa JWLs and really like their feel. I know the base of the U360s are the JWLs and want to replicate the feel of the JWL as much as possible.
I find that the U360 sticks just don't feel right for me with fighting games. And I love fighting games. I actually like the clicking of 4-8 way sticks and my throw feels too large. I plan on getting two 8-way restrictor plates to help the throw, but I'm wondering if I could install the microswitches from the JWLs in the U360? I don't want to actually use them, but again for some strange reason, I like the clicking. I am also thinking about putting the standard springs back in.
Would this setup interfere with the U360. Is there a better setup to replicate the Sanwas? And where can I find the Sanwa joystick microswitches without the joystick?
Thanks!

I'll chime in on the restrictor. I have the 8 way restrictors on my u360 and if I did a dedicated fighting cab w/ u360s, I would go with octogonal restrictors instead. Otehrs should verify this but I find it to easy to accidentally go diagonal with the 8-way restrictor.
When you do this eventually, remember to make custom maps for the u360s.

I might try the octagonal restrictor plates, but $28+$14(shipping) for 2 restrictor plates seems like a lot. My cab isn't a dedicated fighting cab, but I do like fighting games.
Thanks for the help.
