Ok. Place your bets. Grand prize winner might possibly get a piece of the bezel. ;D
-
yep, the last one.....
"YAAAA !!!! It's here, it's here, it's.......<TRIP>----- <CRASH>--- <TEARS :'(>......"
-
looks like i'm sharing the pieces after you break it. ;)
-
I vote for perfect condition.
-
If it was me, I'd vote for the last one. Since it's not me, I'll trust you aren't that clumsy. ;D
-
Well, it looks like everyone loses.
The bezel arrived in one piece, but it was the wrong one. I ordered a Kangaroo one, but recieved a Dig Dug one.
-
HAHAHA!!! That's too hilarious for words... Wellyou never offered that as an option for voting.
So Bob Roberts made a mistake? Hope this doesn't become a trend... I'm placing an order today!
-
Well, on the plus side. This was just a backup part. I already have a mint glass on my Kangaroo. This one will also fit it, so it still makes a good backup part, and now I can hang it on the wall since it is different than the one on my game.
It was packed very well though.

Sweet.
Are you going to contact Bob to see if he has the right one?

I did contact Bob to let him know that I did not get the right one. I did not ask for a replacement. I still got a good price, and I did receive a nice looking bezel. It isn't worth the shipping cost to send this one back, and then have him send me another one. I really didn't even expect it to arrive in one piece.
Now to Bob's credit, he had it listed as an "atari monitor bezel" on his site. I called it a Kangaroo one when I talked to him. But I will bet he has a whole stack of "Atari Monitor Bezels", and simply grabbed the wrong one.
I did however ask that he put an extra leaf switch in my next order, because one of the tabs you solder the wire to on the long handled Wicos I ordered was broken.
Oh, and those long handled Wico sticks are SWEET. Well worth the $20 each he wants for them. The handles, switches, washers, and grommet are all new. The only old parts are the bases and the springs.

UPDATE.
Bob has offered to find me a Kangaroo bezel, but I told him not to worry about it, as it would be a whole lot of trouble and expense, but to just put a little something extra in my next order instead.

Unbelievable, when I first wrote my reply I wrote perfect condition wrong bezel but then I thought better of it and just wrote perfect condition. What a crack up I can't believe it LMAO!
-
Bob just emailed me, and he has the correct replacment bezel already in the mail. So I have unlocked the voting so we can guess on the status of the new one. ;D
-
I say it be a possible terrorist threat you know how us aussies train our kangaroos he will K.O u ;D lol
-
The replacement bezel arrived in one piece. It is in pretty good condition. I would say the one on my machine is an A+, this one would be maybe a B+, while the Dig Dug one I got was maybe a C+.
-
so all u need now is a D+ 1 ;D
