Title: pcsx2 and Maximus Arcade
Post by: georgyw5k on October 16, 2010, 06:48:42 am
Hey guys,

Been running maximus for over a year now but recently got a new PC.

Just wondered how exactly you go about getting pcsx2 to work in Maximus Arcade, ie the commandline requirements etc, i think there was a guide for this before?

I seem to remember in the pre-launch tab you get Daemon Tools to mount the .iso, but that's all i remember.

Thanks guys,

G.

You may want to check out this topic over at the Maximus forums.  The forums are basically dead by the info there is still useful.

Running PCSX2 but when I load a game it brings up the emulator and I have to click file->run cd/dvd rather than it loading directly into the game. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have AutoHotKey doing it automatically for now, but if there's a way to hide the emulator that would be ideal.

What versions are you running?  Also what specific game?

I'm sure there a command line option you're missing for the PCSX2 emu somewhere.  I've never tried that emu myself, but perhaps this is a good time to start.  I'll let you know what I find.

So I did some Googling and found this helpful thread to load PCSX2 from the command line:
