Title: Problems using RomLister with Mala
Post by: predator314 on October 15, 2010, 05:12:37 am
I have the latest versions of Mala and ROMLister.  I am able to produce a nice list of games via ROMLister.  However, when I try to save that list as a Mala file (.mlg I think), Mala throws an error when it tries to read that list.  The error is "Error reading game file list".  It keeps doing this error over and over (I think once for each game in the list).  I've tried recreating the list several times with the same result.  Searching the forums has produced the same error, but no obvious solution.  Any help would be appreciated.

if not, post your -find window text here and let me know what version of MAME you're using and I'll dig into it.

Removing Elway seem to fix the problem.  Thanks so much!

yay!  and sorry that bug exists.  The source of the bug is deep in the bowels of romlister and I'm honestly afraid to change it because I will undoubtedly break something else in the process, not to mention the fix itself is going to be a huge PITA.  Real life has also consumed so much of my good coding time that this one might end up sticking around for a long time.
