Title: Tool for filtering games?
Post by: goldenageofarcade on October 14, 2010, 07:47:51 pm
There used to be a utility that would run a report based on what ROMS you had that you could then catagorize by all sorts of criteria.  If you wanted to see all the games that use an 8-way stick in a vertical 15khz display, you could do this, for example.

I'm going from a single cabinet with every control there is to 2 cabs, one vert and one horizontal, and I'd like to create lists with only the games that apply to each one.

Furthermore, I'm going to have multiple control panels for each cabinet, so filtering down even further based on controls for panel-specific gamelists is part of my plan.

What are the best methods for this?

Thanks very much!

I use RomLister on occasion.

I find it easier to do the "remember XYZ?  I'm adding that" procedure.
