The only problem is they only do 640X480. It would be kind of sweet though if someone bought the whole load and sold them off for like $70 individually. You could probably make your money back in no time on them.

Wow!  $35!  Now that's a hell of a bulk discount.  I hope someone in the hobby buys em up and sells em for like $100.  That's money in the bank if you got it.  I'd do it if I had that kind of money.  Easiest $10,000 you could prolly ever make.

CHECK THIS OUT!  You can buy them individually for $175!  That's still a hell of a deal!

For whatever it's worth, I spoke to Jim and wasn't really impressed. He does liquidations (for the AMF lanes) and makes more money moving palletes of stuff than sitting on merchandise and selling individually to cabinet builders and collectors. I can see why he'd not realy bust ass to sell to people.

I also think that he's not real straightforward. I was trying to work out a deal with him to pick up the bulk of his monitors but he refused to give me information that I asked for such as a contact information for his repair work (to give me an idea of how much time and what it would cost to refurbish them myself on average).

From speaking with people, there's minor imperfections with the refurbished equipment. There might be some discolorations or burn in (can you say bowling scoreboard?), but what do you expect for refurbished equipment?

And if you want to get them for $35, it's the price (per monitor) for a lot of 160 that he's taken out of bowling alleys but hasn't checked.  Expect some (probably more than some) to be broken and most if not all to need adjustments and minor work.  If he's refurbished it, he doesn't want anything less than $100 for the lot of refurbs (60 when I spoke to him, they're probably going fast if he's shipping replacement monitors out of the stock as well).

I'm not trying to talk anyone out of buying these monitors, just wanted to give a heads up.   :-/
