I have a problem with a minijuke 30 cd sound leisure system.
It seems to sometimes have difficulty reading tracks on CD's, even though the cd's are clean. I have tried cleaning the laser but it doesn't make much difference.
Any help would be much appreciated.

you should have a focus adjustment somewhere on the main board.
load up a cd and while it's skipping give it a slight tweak and it will probably smarten up. if it gets worse, your turning the wrong way. :lol
if it's still bad, your whole "sled" might be sitting low. check to make sure theres no wore out parts where it glides. cd sleds usually have a rod on one side where it rides, but it's just plastic on plastic on the other.
the "sled" is the laser/lens/pickup assembly

Ok I'll try that. Is the adjustment on the same moving part as the laser itself?
-
not likely, usually its near the ribbon cable that comes from the sled down to the board...but it may be anywhere... it should be labeled somehow (either "focus" or "F" or something like that)
the small one on the sled is the laser power adjustment... just leave that for the time being.

The machine also sometimes has a problem of coins jamming in the coin mechanism, which is a coin controls C220B 8 coin validator. Can it be cleaned/repaired or does it need to be replaced?
-
its a really simple mech. the top portion opens up. check and see if there is anything causing it to jam. otherwise if it's just dirty just use a damp cloth to clean it.
