Anyone using a small form factor PC in their mame cabinets? I've been eyeing up something like the following:
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX28569%28ME%29.aspx (http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX28569%28ME%29.aspx)
But I'm trying to figure out if that PC will have a spare molex connector so I can tap into the 5v for my leds and if it will have sufficient power (I'm talking electrical power here). I'm pretty confident in the PC specs for playing mame games of the late 80's all the way to mid 90's but if someone has any comment I'm all ears.

is that case from 1989?
Im sure you can tap it for 5V, or just use a walwart.

Check out my build threads below, im using a small form factor for my MAME and PinMame cabs
No problems at all except I needed a real MF of a graphics card for the PinMame cab which is taller than the case so i cant put the lid on, but thats no biggy ;)

I have the exact same computer in my MAME machine. It works great. There were plenty of electrical connectors, but if I may offer a suggestion, why don't you just go buy a used power supply for about 5 bucks, plug it in separately and just tap into it?
I have everything running through a smartstrip, an dthe smartstrip is triggered by the computer. It was also easy to tap into the wires for the PC's power switch so I could mount my own switch on top of the machine.

Thanks for the feedback so far everyone.

Ha! possibly good thing I'm hiding it in a gigantic case. ;)

Not a bad idea about the power supply I'll look into that. I was already planning to run some longer wires from the power supply switch to a momentary switch on top of the cabinet, so it's good to know it can be done.
