Title: video flickering issues
Post by: dfg on October 04, 2010, 04:09:21 am
had my cabinet up n running (megalo 410). until my hard drive died and i needed to restart all over! :(
anyways i reinstalled winxp/ hyperspin and shelled it using instantsheller.
but when i start the cabinet all seems fine the screen images are static. until hyperspin starts? it keeps on flickering and wont hold the video image, ive tried to manually stop it with the monitor settings but still no good? would this be the arcadevga driver issues or jpac issues? sorry just a bit lost.
any info would be helpful
cheers!

OK if found the issue, the resolution is on 800x600
normally i would just use the quickres (galaga )icon on the bottom right of my taskbar and change it to 640x480 32bit,  but silly me i have shelled the computer so i cant access the toolbar.  is there a way i can access quickres to change it??  im able open explorer.exe via "new task"  and access folders. but im not too sure where the quickres would be located?
any helppp please? :(
cheers! :) :)

"quickres" is the name of at least one non microsoft product you can use to set your resolution.  If this is a program you have installed you might look to its support information?
