Title: Question about replacing PCB BATTERY.

I just got my Raiden II PCB and I noticed that it's not saving my high scores after I power it off. There is a battery on the pcb. It looks just like a AA battery. It says it's 3.6 V Lithium. I think regular AA batteries are 1.5 V. Can I replace this battery with a regular AA, or does it have to be 3.6V? Will any 3.6 battery work?

Definitely NOT a regular AA.
They do however come in a AA "size".

Really just depends on how your battery is connected. (wires and such)

Did you measure the voltage on your current battery?
Are there any dipswitch or menu settings that may make it not save high scores?

Raiden II may not save high scores at all. The battery may just save the game settings - freeplay, difficulty etc. I have a few boards like this.

Change the settings, get on the score table and then cycle the power. If neither have saved then I guess you will need a new battery. If only the settings have saved then I imagine the board does not save high scores.
