Is it possible to trick Logitech Profiler into working with another controller?
Logitech Profiler has been a lifesaver for my driving cab.
Being able to set the pedals to combined/separate, map controls & adjust sensetivity seperately for any exe has made a lot of things work better than they would have otherwise.
I'm going to start working on a set of real arcade controls for the driving cab now, including clutch pedal & 6 speed shifter.
I want one interface to be able to handle everything & it comes down to hacking a G25, G27 or using a U-HID.
I'd prefer to go the U-HID route rather than hacking a wheel that expensive.
Anyone ever try to make logitech profiler work with another manufacturer's device?
EDIT:Nevermind, just realized that I wouldn't have force feedback with the U-HID. Major oversight.
Still kind of curious about the original question though.

Probably not since HID devices such as the U-HID use Vendor Id's and Product Id's to identify themselves. These are usually hard-coded into the product themselves. I guess you could ask Andy if it's possible to change these in the firmware.
