Title: classic arcade t-shirts
Post by: deadmeat13 on September 17, 2010, 12:43:18 am
hey guys.
i'm fairly new around these parts, but i'm mostly over at the klov forums. i own a screen printing shop and occasionally do classic arcade shirts, which i sell on the forum. someone over there suggested i post the same over here if any one is interested.

this is the original thread over there;

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=150783 (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=150783)

these shirts as always will be SCREEN PRINTED. not iron ons. not inkjet transfers. they are hand screen printed by me.

here's what i got;

burger time

spy hunter

Q-bert

pac-man

i'm gonna do pricing like this;

if you want;

one shirt      = $13.00
two shirts    = $25.00
three shirts  = $36.00
four shirts    = $46.00
five shirts     = $55.00

all prices include shipping.
you can pick and choose whichever you would like.

to order paypal the correct sum (as a gift) to; thedeadmeat13@yahoo.com

please include;
1. your name
2. your address
3. which design(s) you want
4. what size(s) you would like.
5. your byoac name so i can keep it all straight.

sizes available are - small, medium, large, XL, XXL, and XXXL

the cut off date for ordering is sunday 9-26-2010
the shirts will ship by October 4th. with the cut off date being sept 26th that will give me a week to get them all printed and out the door.

i understand if anyone has trust issues, as i am not a constant poster on this message board, but i have done this on klov quite a few times and have a spotless track record.

thanks!
mike

Do you have any pictures of actual shirts?

i print them as ordered.

here is a link to the thread on the joust shirt i did last year. there is a picture or two.

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=115271 (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=115271)

basically what i do is, i take pre-orders up until the cut-off date i posted and then i print them and ship them out. this way i don't get stuck with a bunch of random sizes as leftovers that i can't get rid of.

Can you do another Joust or was that a limited deal?  I am in for one Joust if available.

I'm interested in a Joust and a Burgertime shirt (med).

If you end up doing another run of the Joust shirts, I'll order from you then.
That Joust side-art is one of my favourites!

**Edit** also, two questions:
1. Do you ship to Can-uh-duh?
2. Could we request shirt colours? Would be nice to have that Burgertime on a black or white shirt..I'm not so keen on the bright orange.

i can ship to canada but it will be a few bucks more.
i cant switch up the shirt colors because the orange is part of the design. to print that on a black shirt it would require two replacement screens, which i can't do for one or two shirts.

as far as the joust shirts go, i will do another run sometime soon, but keep in mind; when i do the joust shirts i won't be doing these designs at that time. i print these shirts as ordered. meaning, i post the design then list a cut-off date and then print however may were ordered. when they are done, they are done.i might do a reprint, but i might not. depending on how much interest there is. i don't keep any in stock. so if you want one of these designs, get em while the getting is good.

I'm in for an Xtra-Large Joust when you do the print run.  If you want prepayment for it now so you know I'm not going to bail later on, let me know.

Hey since you do screen printing you might be able to answer this for me - I'm building a pinball cab and will have some matting to do around the playfield glass, was considering trying to paint it or hire a screen print place to do it that way.  Will that stuff stick to glass and what ballpark should a place charge me to do a blue rectangle on the outside of the playfield glass?  Glass size is roughly 42" by 22" and the screen print would be a 1/2" - 1" strip around the edges.

honestly you would probably be better off painting it on there yourself. most places wont do one screen printed piece, or if they do it will be a ton of loot. most joints don't even have screens that big. go with tape and spray paint. after you paint your blue color, before you tear off the tape spray 3m triple thick clear coat on it to protect the paint from scratches.

hey everybody! just a reminder today is the last day to order a shirt. more than likely, i won't do a reprint on any of these designs for a long time (if ever), so if you want one... this is the time to get it.
i start production tomorrow and will be shipping everything on the 4th of october.
thanks again!

Mine came last week (North Eastern PA), I got the  Burgertime and Pacman and couldn't be more happy with the product. I will definitely be watching for more shirts to run.

What with the responses here and over at klov, some of them international, it seems he had a lot of orders. I ordered the last day, so he may not have even gotten to shipping it yet.
