Title: Juke box problem

I have a R-94 Rowe  jukebox.
All of a sudden the tone arm goes into the middle of the record instead of playing from the beginning.
The tone arm returns to the proper location at the end of record play but the tone arm travels to the middle of the record when another selection is chosen.
This machine only has 1000 plays on it.
All help is greatly appreciated.

First thing I'd check is to see if anything is obstructing the tone arm travel.
They usually don't just 'fall out' of adjustment that far that quickly.

Look at the base of the tonearm, maybe the shaft could use some oil.

The copper tone arm guide piece on the tone arm cam may have broken off. See your manual for pictures of it and to get the part number.

Hello Vinny P,

Yes Ken is correct it could be the guide but it is white plastic not copper.
Another thing to check is that the two pins on the rear of the tone arm that go over the tone arm are intact and are following the tone arm cam correctly check out your manual.

Hello golyo79,

The lamps you require are a type 73 1watt 14 volts, more than likely the substitute ones you used will have been the incorrect voltage or wattage.
Use of these may have effected your sound to light unit, I would check out that there is no dry joints (called cold joints in the USA) on the sound to light lanp connection sockets.
