Title: mame coin 1 button keeps changing.

i have a cabinet using keywiz for the control panel. Each player has a pushbutton for coin insert. mame recognizes my coin 1 button as button 16. The problem is every time i exit mame. The config changes it to button 15. i would have to set it back to button 16 everytime i load up a game. It doesnt do this fo?r any other button. Any ideas?

delete mame, everything,(except roms of coure) reinstall mame,

plus I dont think the keywiz has a "16" key

i've tried that.
but now i think i've figured out the problem.  i've soldered this button to N, on my keywiz eco40 which is used for ENTER. is there a way i can fix this without any solder work?

i was told that mame has problems with controllers with more than 15 buttons. could this be why? any solutions?
