I am restoring a Sega Virtua Racing V.R. Machine and I am trying to figure out a way to use Tube TVs for a replacement to the two bad wells gardner monitors. I have found some converters but some of them dont support Medium resolutions and convert them....
I am willing to view most posiblities that dont require a scientist to implement... though im down for hearing all ideas and i appreciate them non the less.... please help me out because i am starting to get really pissed at this for i have been looking for quite some time for somthing that i know will work besides buying a 200-500 dollar monitor... if you would like to call or text me 330-321-4294 my name is Aaron I live in ohio... i have one monitor that my friend drop while he was taking it out*its gone* so to speak the other monitor i just get a horizontal line.... may try to fix that monitor, but the second monitor i need some sort of alternative.

all depends on the monitor model and the crt yoke tolerances
what size crt are they and what make model?
there are some tri sync chassis on the market for 29" crt and some 15/25k chassis for 25-29" crt
hopefully not u5000 wells gardners

if the chassis's work , jus' swap out the tube .
keep the yoke from the orig monitor and no worries 'bout board compatability ;)
keep and mark position of donor purity rings. will make alignment easier.
i think vr used 25" crt's . as long as the crt end is the same as the donor , it should work
as minor biasing differences can be easily compensated.
