Title: Joust cocktail cab?

Anyone around here patterned their cocktail cab after the Joust cocktail?  I was thinking of using a modified version of this design.  Love the cocktail cabs but mainly play horizontal, 2 player games, so the traditional cocktail cab design doesn't work for me.  I'd be interested to here any feedback on this idea.  Here's what the cab looks like:

I have never seen one of these before.  I think it would make a really cool cocktail cab.  Do you have the dimensions?

 Thats a nice cocktail.. There's one up on Ebay right now and the guy has some nice close up pictures of the cab that might help in copying the design.

Thanks for the ebay link.  I must have missed that auction.  

I was thinking about making this a Killer Instinct cab.  KI 1 and 2 on a JAMMA switch.  I love thoes games! :)  What do you guys think?  I'd go the MAME route, but KI is my main goal and it will be cheaper to just buy the originals than build a PC that can actually play KI.

Hi folks I am getting a joust cocktail cab by the end of this month or early sept I am planning a full restoration
but I have no problem with giving full measurments and all the digital pics you need.

EXCELLENT !!! ;D  - I love this place.  My wife saw the photos of the cabinet and now I have project #4 lined up.  (Still working on project 1 ---  ::) .)

Hey no problem I just wish this forum was like the visual pinball forums where you could upload pics to your posts without having them on a web site first.

You can - at the bottom of the post form is a place for you to attach files :)

I'd be interested in the plans as well and would be willing to make up some CP overlays and such for people in PhotoShop when I have the dimensions.

Edgedamage - That would be great!  Send me an e-mail when you get you cab, if you don't mind.  Some measurements would be very helpful.   ;)

My cab is set up like that as well, but boy is that Joust cab mint. ;D
