Title: Nintendo (Sanyo 20EZ) Breakout cable pin out?
Post by: sk8ersublime on September 03, 2010, 07:18:41 pm
Hi everyone,

I just recapped a DK jr monitor that I thought I ruined....but it turns out, after a little trace repair, the tube seems to work still(I get power and with brightness up, I get a blackish/red screen) ! So....I want to hook this up to my PC to test it out, without a ArcadeVGA. I have read it is possible, you just have to goto 640x480 and adjust the V and H sync.

I have found the pin-outs for the VGA end of the cable, but I am not sure where I am suppose to connect on the monitor itself.

Anyone used this monitor for a PC setup? Wanna help me out with a pin out, or explain where on the Monitor I need to connect to?(Inverter Board?, Chassis Board?)

Thanks!

Chad

Connect through the inverter. (make sure it has power, usually a single red wire)

Video Input from Game PCB = PC VGA Cable
Switch cable from the main chassis over to Invert Out.
