The question now is, are they heading out of business? And if no, then how much more do they have??
-

actually, I think they are. Some posts at KLOV mentioned selling off all their pinball ramps because they were closing shop

DAYYYUMMMM. TNT closing up? Now that is a sign of the times.
Although, I can see how they would run out of suckerscustomers with prices like this:
Q: hi. would you be willing to sell just the tron? how much would you want for it? i'm local to you (philadelphia) and could pick up immediately. i have been looking for one for months and have had no luck. i don't care... Continue reading
A: Absolutely! Tron is available shopped for just $1999...

Maybe if they sold this stuff for a better price, they would get a bit or two. The average cost is $1200 and $900 for the 2 auctions (neglecting shipping of course). I saw a lot of nice pins in the first auction, but I personally wouldn't pay more than $1200 for very many pins. Virtually no arcade games are worth that either (except for a few driving cabs).
I liked the one they had months ago that was like $500k for a couple thousand games. Worked out to $2-300 per cab if I remember correctly.
-
All that sounds about right. Every once in a while I call one of the local companies and ask if they have any old cabs they want to get rid of.
They *never* have any....they tell me they just gut them, put in updated bits, redo the exterior artwork, and lease it back out. They refurb them constantly and almost never toss any.
The ones they do toss are usually so damaged it would be far easier to build one from scratch than to try and repair it. I'm talking ones that are either water or fire damaged, or literally falling apart with little hope that you wouldn't have to remake just about every part.
Eventually I gave up looking and just built my own. I figured if I kept waiting around to find a cab I'd never get it done.

I've been in TNT Warehouse. It's full of CABs. He's showroom is full of working machine. His house is full of CABARET arcade games.
Got a couple of Empty cab from him (Todd Tuckey).
-
Yea they sell empty cabs for $50 and $99 depending on the cab.
Been bugging them for a galaga or ms pacman empty cab. The search continues...

Not a huge lot, though a good size collection. They look very nice, but maybe still a lot of money 'per'? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ARCADE-PINBALL-VIDEO-GAMES-LARG-Lot-26-Machines-/260618050793?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cae0bdce9)

Just need to win the lotto, save all the hassle of buying individual machine, buy both lots, get them shipped to the UK. Job done.
