Hi all,
I finally managed to correct some issues I was dealing with in Mame .95 where I couldn't get my USB devices to work when launching Mame from my MA FE. I created a mame.ini and put in joystick 1, mouse 1, etc. and the devices sprang to life.
Unfortunately I am now getting a separate issue where it appears the Mice/Joysticks are fighting each other for control. Best explained in an Arkanoid example: When I move my "Vaus" left and right with my GGG TurboTwist Spinner, it is jumping all over the place and going back to the original position. I'm guessing that perhaps one of my joysticks is leaning out of the deadzone?
Just curious about the best way to deal with this problem - for example how can I "en masse" update the control scheme for mame and tell it NOT to use Joystick 1 or 2 for Dial or Trackball controls?
Also - is there a good set of instructions on properly calibrating my U360's to either eliminate the slight bias and getting it to stand still? I've calibrated them in the Windows gamepad app before, so I am not sure if this is interfering with UltraMap's instructions, etc.
Any help, pointers, links, etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks.

What do you have your Analog Sensitivity set to?
see: http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Spinner_Turn_Count (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Spinner_Turn_Count)
set it to 486/1200*100 = 40.5, so set it to 40 or 41
Make sure the analog axis is only set to use the mouse, not mouse and joystick.
