Ok, So I've played the Hyperbowl Arcade Edition Demo that can be found here: http://www.tucows.com/download.html?software_id=266462&t=2 (http://www.tucows.com/download.html?software_id=266462&t=2)
However, the company discontinued the product, since it does not work on any Windows OS' past Windows XP. I'm running XP so would love this for my arcade machine. But I can't find where to buy it anywhere! I've checked Amazon and e-bay with no results.
Anyone know where I can find this to buy? Anyone selling their copy? It's a shame a game this good is no longer available. It works perfectly with a trackball setup.
Thanks in advance!

Just tried out the demo, I want it!
I have been scouring for a while and not come up with anything ;(
-
Works fine in Windows 7 - and thanks for the mention - I like it!
The hunt is on. Since it appears to be abandonware, perhaps there is an alternate way of getting this...
-
Ive been digging in that direction, nothing...
-
Stay tuned. I may have an update on this front. It sucks it's not for sale anymore, but I may have found something... I'll know in about 2 days.

Double confirmation that it seems to work under Win7. Running on Win7 Pro, turned on XP SP3 compatibility and ran as Administrator.
Didn't actually play it though, just wanted to see it come up.

Anyone find a legit place to purchase Hyperbowl Arcade?

Anyone find a legit place to purchase Hyperbowl Arcade?
I believe it's part of Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Plus!#Microsoft_Plus.21_for_Windows_XP) so maybe try a search on eBay?
EDIT: It looks like the version included in Plus! is not the full version.

Thanks for the thoughts guys :) I'm looking for the full edition to run off a PC so I can hook it to my controller in front of the projector screen. I've been hawking ebay for a while now, but the few times it's been up there it's been ridiculously priced (like $60+). I'll keep looking - cheers!

Any chance you can let me in on this?

Just found out about this game... any news on how/where to get it?
-
I develop the mobile version (under license from Hyper Entertainment), but since I use the cross-platform Unity game engine I've released some other versions, e.g. you can try a webplayer version (Unity or Flash) at http://hyperbowl3d.com/ (http://hyperbowl3d.com/) and the standalone Mac and PC versions are on various sites like GameJolt (just search for "hyperbowl") It's not exactly the same as the original - doesn't yet have all the original content in the busier lanes (e.g. traffic in the San Francisco and Tokyo lanes), but it's a more modern game engine with graphics features like bump mapping and dynamic shadows, and I did add a new Snowpark lane.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately the game can't be run in fullscreen so it's not as cab friendly as I hope it would be :(

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but does anybody know where are I can get the full arcade edition of this that will run fullscreen? Played it with the wife at Gameworks and she insists we have it on the mame cabinet. Awesome fun game, but it needs all the levels like Tokyo.
